"Being grounded means that you're present in your body + connected with the earth. When you're grounded, you allow yourself to feel centered and balanced no matter what's going on around you."

In a simplistic sense, being grounded feels like you are a tree -- deeply rooted, centered + still. When you are grounded [like a tree] the windstorm doesn't influence/ affect you. However, when you are not grounded, you feel like a leaf -- vulnerable, flooded + thrown off.

Indulge in Self-Care | Take a bubble bath, journal your thoughts, yoga -- do what makes you feel like your best you.
Walk Barefoot | Take your shoes off + walk barefoot on the earth.
