The hat that has been the most rewarding is being a wife. It's a hat I've dreamt of wearing my whole life and what a beautiful hat it is. I find my greatest joy and deepest sorrow being a wife. I've laugh harder than I've ever laughed and love harder than I've ever imagined possible. What a sacred thing it is to find your soul-mate and create a life with them.
The hat that I find most challenging is being a friend. I'm quite the home body and definitely an introvert and almost always prefer being home rather than going out. I find it harder and harder to obtain true genuine friendships the older I become! I crave genuine and authentically passionate people. People that fuel inspiration. People that make you feel re-charged after a visit.
The hats that are least know about me would probably be my love for art. I grew up painting and drawing and I still find myself doodling whenever possible. I now channel my artistic love through decoration and outfit inspiration but I sure do find my mind going to beautiful places when I pick up a paint brush. Another hat that isn't know about me is my love for cooking. I could spend hours in the kitchen creating a beautiful tasty meal. Just don't put me on dish duty and it's always a good time :)
I'm inspired by music and the great outdoors. Anytime I'm feeling like I'm in a creative rut I throw on my favorite tunes and head up to the mountains. A little fresh air, good music and mother nature sure does change your perspective on things.
