What are the roles or hats you lead in your life?
To name a few.. I am a loving wife, soon-to-be loving mama, daughter, fine artist, fashion enthusiast, outdoor craver, free spirit, sensitive minder and most importantly - a peanut butter cap’n crunch eater.
Which hat do you find most rewarding?
The hat I find most rewarding would be my creative hat. Exercising the creator in me has opened so many doors whether it being my livelihood, the relationships I’ve made along the way (and the many to come), through service.. all the while with kindness & inspiration being the spearhead of anything I create. It brings me all the happiness, other than being a wife to my fabulous husband, of course ;)
What hats do you find are most challenging and what do you do to embrace them?
I struggle most with my pleasing others hat, or should I say, my speaking up hat. I am the least most confrontational person you may meet and I will do anything in my power to make sure those around me are happy and will never have any reason to have resentment towards me or my loved ones. This is difficult when it comes with work, because as a small business owner, it’s almost impossible to not mix personal life and feelings with work. It’s inevitable to have unhappy clients or unfortunate situations arise every now and then - so I’m definitely still learning the balance of keeping my head up high while standing my ground.
What hats are least known about you?
My introverted hat. After moving away from home after high school, I’ve become quite the extroverted-introvert. I’m much more comfortable hanging at home with my family than large social gatherings. My job calls for many things like this and although it makes me feel uncomfortable in the moment, I am happy it brings down my walls a little more each time. It’s all about those life lessons! At least I try to tell myself that ;)
Who or what inspires you?
Too many to count! Firstly, Mother Earth! Traveling and experiencing different landscapes of all kinds truly take my breath away / My parents unconditional love, especially as a young child, inspired me to be the artist I am today and how I hope to teach my own children / Seeing other creators and their successes are always an inspiration to push through whatever rut I may be in / Selfless individuals who dedicate their time to service always inspires me to be a better human and to look inward a little (a LOT) less / So many things make up for what inspires me in my every day life, it’s truly different each day. I think it’s so important to open your eyes and find something new every single day to be inspired by!
